Spencer, Iowa — The newly revamped Emergency Department at Spencer Hospital is now operational. The new facility started seeing patients at 8:00 am this (Wed.) morning. Hospital President and CEO Brenda Tiefenthaler says it represents years of planning, designing, and construction.
She says the updated space offers increased privacy, comfort, and efficiency, supporting the hospital’s ongoing commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. Hospital leaders say the new department strengthens their ability to deliver timely and expert emergency services.
