O’Brien County Relay For Life Sponsoring A “Pink Out”

O’Brien County, Iowa — October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the O’Brien County Relay for Life Committee has scheduled some special events in conjunction with the period.

Relay for Life organizers are asking O’Brien County residents to wear pink one day next week, October 22nd through 26th, to show your support for those affected by cancer. Dustin Remme tells us more.

In addition to their Pink Out, Remme says there’s something special coming up Monday at both Hy-Vee and Fareway in Sheldon.

All items on the bake sale will be available for a free-will donation.

He says that Monday evening there will be a special Relay for Life event at the Sheldon Pizza Ranch.

If you’re unable to attend the Bake Sale or the evening event at Pizza Ranch, Relay for Life organizers say you can send your checks to:
American Cancer Society
P.O. Box 41
Sheldon IA 51201

The O’Brien County Relay for Life Committee thanks you for your support.
