Hartley, Iowa — Another great event for sportsmen and their families is coming up next weekend.
The O’Brien County Sportsmen’s Club will be holding their annual banquet Saturday, March 26th at the Hartley Community Center in Hartley at 5:30 PM, with the dinner to start at 7.
We talked to Dean Van Marel of JARD, Inc., who is one of the organizers of the banquet. He tells us about the meal and how you can get tickets.
Van Marel says Hy-Vee will be catering the meal. The night will include many fun-filled events, games, auctions and drawings throughout the course of the evening, he says. The grand prize this year is a Polaris Ranger. Several other prizes are available as well, according to Van Marel.
He says he’s proud that proceeds from the event stay local.
Again, tickets can be purchased from any club director, or at the KIWA Studios, 411 9th Street, downtown in Sheldon. Tickets will be available at the door, but will be priced at $50.00 each.
