O’Brien County Sportsmen’s Club Banquet Is Saturday

Prime RibO’Brien County, Iowa — Tickets are still available for the 30th annual O’Brien County Sportsmen’s Club Banquet, which will be held this Saturday, March 25th.

This year marks a new location for the banquet.  For the past few years it has been held at the Hartley Community Center, but this year’s event is scheduled for the new R.L. Johannsen Center in Sutherland.

Doors for Saturday’s O’Brien County Sportsmen’s Club Banquet will open at 5:30 pm, with the prime rib dinner scheduled for 7:00.  In addition, games will be played, you can bid on numerous silent auction items, and after dinner the huge regular auction will be held, featuring limited edition art, guns, and more.

Tickets for the O’Brien County Sporstmen’s Club Banquet are $40 each in advance, or $50 each at the door.  Children 15 and under are just $20.  Advance tickets are available from any Sportsmen’s Club Director.  If you want tickets for the dinner only, those are available for $20 each.

The Grand Prize Raffle this year is for a 2017 Polaris Ranger 570 ATV.  Those tickets are also available from any club director, or at the event.

The annual O’Brien County Sportsmen’s Club Banquet is the organization’s big fundraising event for the year.

Again, this year’s banquet will be held Saturday at the new R.L. Johannsen Center in Sutherland, with doors opening at 5:30, and the prime rib dinner at 7.
