Orange City, Iowa — A few weeks ago the Orange City Tulip Festival Executive Committee made the decision to cancel the 2020 Tulip Festival due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and indicated that a decision on dates for the 2020 Tulip Festival Night Show would be made at a later date. Now that decision has been made.
According to the Tulip Festival website, the Night Show production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella will be postponed until May 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15, 2021. The show will be performed on the same days and times as were planned for May 2020, Tuesday and Wednesday performances will be at 6:30 PM and the Thursday – Saturday performances will be at 8:00 PM.
No ticket sale refunds will be given at this time. They will be applied to the 2021 Tulip Festival Night Show, and the Committee says they’ll work with all ticket holders to find a performance date that will work with their schedules.
All purchased tickets will apply to the same times and day of the week as the 2020 Tulip Festival.
Changes to tickets for specific event days or times will be made when ticket sales begin in January 2021.
The Tulip Festival Executive Committee says thank you for your patience as they navigate these challenging and unprecedented times, and they look forward to celebrating with you in 2021.
