Arnolds Park — Okoboji’s Winter Games Weekend is a little more than two weeks away. Blain Andera of the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce says if you’re planning to participate in any of the events and haven’t already done so, you need to get signed up ASAP.
He says this year’s Burning of the Greens and Fireworks Extravaganza will be even more spectacular than in the past.
And when it comes to ice conditions this year for Winter Games, Andera says overall they’re good, but he says there are still areas of concern and he wants everyone to keep that in mind.
One of the kick-off events for Winter Games, the annual Cheerleader Alumni Dinner, is coming up on Thursday evening.
