UPDATE: This event has been canceled due to weather. However, the organizers say they will be at the Trunk or Treat event at the Faith Community Church on Halloween evening, Tuesday, October 31st at 4 p.m.

Sheldon, Iowa — A Halloween tradition that’s been going for several years in Sheldon is scheduled once again for this Saturday. But organizers are all hoping and praying that the snow that’s in the forecast holds off, at least for a little while.
Karin Vanden Berg tells us more.
Vanden Berg tells us they did look for an alternative location to use in case of inclement weather, but, unfortunately, none could be found.
She tells us what kinds of activities and games they’ll have for the kids if they’re able to have the carnival.
Vanden Berg says she hopes the weather allows them to do it, and she invites everyone to come see the carnival.
Again, it’s this Saturday, October 28th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and kids are invited to come in their costumes, and are advised to dress warmly.
