Sioux Center, Iowa — A pickup has been found, but Sioux County authorities are still trying to piece together how it was stolen and who took it in a burglary discovered this past Friday.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Friday morning, September 2nd, their deputies investigated a report of burglary and theft that was reported to have occurred at Sioux Feeds, 4195 Highway 75, a mile south of Sioux Center.
Deputies believe that in the early hours of Friday morning, sometime after 2:00 a.m., a perpetrator or perpetrators entered the business, stole cash and a 1999 Dodge Ram pickup that had been parked outside of the business.
Later that day, a few minutes before 6 p.m., the Dodge Ram pickup that was stolen was found in Le Mars. The Sheriff’s Office says the case remains under investigation.
