Sheldon, Iowa — Work is now underway on the Turf Project at Orab Field.
School officials say there are trucks entering and leaving the construction area roughly every two minutes. As a result, they ask that you avoid the northwest area of the football field and bike trail during this process.
School officials ask that you park in the high school or middle school parking lots. And, they say, please avoid the bus barn area, as there are buses coming and going, as well.
Finally, school officials remind you that the dirt road coming off of Highway 18, as well as the dirt road on East 4th Street east of the 19th Avenue intersection, as these are not public roads, but are for use by school buses and construction trucks.
