Pro-Life Women’s Healthcare Provider Moves Back To Orange City

Guiding Star Siouxland, a provider of pro-life women’s healthcare, has moved again.

Established in 2016 on Albany Avenue as “Guiding Star Orange City,” the organization changed its name to “Guiding Star Siouxland” and moved to a location in Sioux Center in early 2022.

They have now moved back to Orange City. Their new address is 111 Arizona Ave Northwest, which is just a half a block south of the west side of Windmill Park.

Guiding Star officials tell us that due to the community’s desire for expanded services, they have also added a nurse practitioner and a Spanish-speaking nurse manager to the team. Other staff include birth and postpartum doulas, fertility educators, and lactation consultants. Guiding Star officials tell us they are committed to “truly hearing your story with compassion and providing individualized healthcare.” They go on to say, “With the aim of reducing fear in fertility, pregnancy, breastfeeding, postpartum, and motherhood, we are dedicated to offering services in all core areas relating to a woman’s stages of development – from body awareness all the way through menopause, and beyond.”

Although certain services now have a fee attached, they tell us that financial assistance (thanks to generous donors) is always available – just ask for the form to fill out.

To set up an appointment or for more information, you can call or text 712-266-3282 or visit www.guidingstarsiouxland.org.

They will also have a Grand Opening Open House on Monday, September 30, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. It will include refreshments and a prayer dedication at 5 p.m.
