O’Brien County, Iowa — O’Brien County’s Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society was held Monday, August 3rd, and raised more than $16,000 during the non-traditional event.
One of the Relay for Life events that did keep with tradition was the Relay for Life Raffle, which saw items donated by several O’Brien County businesses.
Relay organizers have now released the names of the winners of those raffle prizes:
J. Kooiker of Sheldon and G. Jacobs of Hartley each won a Propane Exchange
M. Kleinwolterink of Sheldon was the winner of the Holida Inn Pool Pass
V. Pruin of Sheldon was the recipient of the RiseFest 2021 tickets
P. De Vries of Sheldon won the Meat Gift Card
K. Sholly of Hartley and W. Nelson of Sanborn won Golf Packages from Meadow Brook at Hartley
T. Boelter of Sanborn got the Golf Package from the Paullina Golf Course
M. Granstra of Sheldon was the winner of the Golf Package from Primghar Country Club
J. Fisher of Paullina took home the Golf Package from Sheldon Country Club
W. Bannister of Sheldon was the winner of the Jay’s Restaurant & Lounge in Sanborn
D. Wolthuizen of Sheldon got the Gift Card from Langer’s in Sheldon
J. Stoltz of Hartley was the winner of the Old 60 Gift Certificate
J. Feekes of Sheldon won the Pizza Ranch Certificate
