Sheldon, Iowa — RISE Ministries, the organization behind the Christian music festival RiseFest, has announced the first artists for the RiseFest 2017 lineup. Tenth Avenue North and MercyMe will return to RiseFest. 2017 will mark the third appearance at the festival for both artists.
RISE Ministries President and Founder Rob Roozeboom says he’s excited that these two awesome worship bands, that have appeared at RiseFest in the past, will be back again for the 2017 festival.
RiseFest features well known and up and coming Christian artists. In addition to musical acts, attendees visit seminars and listen to speakers. Children can play games and make crafts in the Kids Zone. Junior and Senior high school aged students can participate in their respective, specially catered youth areas. Those traveling out of town can buy camping spaces for trailers or tents to stay the weekend. Roozeboom says RISE Ministries, along with its sponsors, partners, and volunteers seek to make the atmosphere of the event fun and meaningful for all ages.
