School Board Selects Architect, Votes To Update SAVE Revenue Purpose Statement

Sheldon, Iowa — When the Sheldon Community Schools Board of Education met Wednesday they discussed SAVE revenues, and named an architectural firm the District will be working with.

Sheldon Superintendent Cory Myer tells us which of the two architectural firms interviewed was the board’s final choice.

In other action, the board approved an update of the District’s SAVE Revenue Purpose Statement. Myer talks about SAVE revenues.

He tells us some of the allowable uses for SAVE funding.

Myer tells us about why the Revenue Purpose Statement needs an update.

Myer says the update will require approval from the District’s voters, and will appear on the ballot in the November election.
