Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon School Board will meet in regular session late Wednesday afternoon with several items on their agenda.
The Board will deal with one employee resignation, a pair of teacher contract adjustments, and are expected to offer six teaching contracts for the upcoming school year.
Superintendent Cory Myer is scheduled to report to the Board on the funds the District will receive from the federal government as part of the CARES, or Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act. He’ll also report to the Board on the DOE’s Return-To-Learn Plan, as well as talk about the gym floors and asbestos removal projects.
In other action, the Board will set School Meal Prices for the 2020-2021 school year, designate the John and Irene Bowers Scholarship Recipients, and receive a recommendation from Superintendent Myer to approve a large technology hardware and infrastructure purchase.
Wednesday’s meeting begins at 5:00 pm in the Sheldon High School library.
