Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Community Schools Board of Education will hold their regular June meeting tonight at 7:00 in the high school library.
Tonight’s meeting is scheduled to be the last for Robin Spears as Superintendent of Schools. Spears will be retiring at the end of the month.
On tonight’s agenda, Tom Fuoss of Perspective Insurance will go over the District’s property and casualty insurance plan with the Board.
Superintendent Spears will report to the Board that the SCDC vs Sheldon District softball game has been scheduled for August 15th, with further details to be worked out.
Spears is also expected to go over the Instructional Coaches Annual Report, as well as give a legislative summary, and talk about Certified Enrollment.
The Board is also set to review a trio of Open Enrollment Applications for next school year, as well as issue five employment contracts, and approve a pair of volunteer coaches.
The Board is also set to take up Free and Reduced Price Lunches, along with bread and milk contracts, and athletic ticket prices for next year.
