Search Is On For First Flower Of Spring At Waterman Prairie South

Sutherland, Iowa — You can welcome the coming of spring with a search for the first wildflower on the prairie this Saturday.

O’Brien County Naturalist Charlene Elyea says this event has come to be a favorite of many people. She says the search for the pasque flower is an annual rite of passage of spring.
