Strong winds return to the region today, continuing through the weekend. Most gusts will range from 35 to 45 mph, but gusts to and above 50 mph are possible. Strong winds will lead to elevated fire conditions, so take extra precautions to prevent fire start and spread!
Tonight through Saturday afternoon will be warm and windy, with periods of showers and thunderstorms. Some storms could become severe, with large hail, damaging winds, and brief heavy rain. Wind gusts through the weekend will reach 35 to 45 mph at times. By Sunday, the weather dries out, but winds will still be strong. Monday looks less windy, but at least mostly sunny.
