Sheldon Children’s Easter Egg Hunt Is Saturday At NCC’s LLRC

Sheldon, Iowa — Lots of fun for kids is planned for this Saturday, even though the weather is not ideal.

Most years, the Sheldon Kids’ Easter Egg Hunt is outdoors. But this year, they have moved it indoors at Northwest Iowa Community College’s Lifelong Learning & Recreation Center.

But the rest of the event remains the same. Sheldon Chamber Director Trista Kavanagh says it’s been going on for a long time.

Kavanagh says she has some help stuffing the plastic eggs.

And, she says, hunting for the eggs isn’t the only fun that will be had.

Again that website is sheldoniowa.com. And you have to have the form filled out before you get to the Easter Egg Hunt. There will be a place to drop off your forms for each child.

There are two bikes being given away for each age category. Kavanagh tells us what the age categories are.

Admission is free for ages 0 through 12.

A designated area will be available for children who need extra assistance gathering eggs. Security National Bank has also hidden a special $50 egg in each age group.
