Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon Christian School has just completed a building project, and they are inviting the public to supper and a tour.
Renae Vande Brake tells us about the project.
(As said, “Our younger grade rooms have been modified so they’re more little people friendly. And we added a cafeteria, updated parts of our building, added more security, and just some overall maintenance.”)
The event will be this Thursday evening, August 20th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sheldon Christian School. Vande Brake tells us about the meal details and the event.
(As said, “We are having our back to school barbecue where you can get a smoked pork meal for a freewill donation. Because of COVID we have modernized it a little bit, by seating outside, seating inside or drive-by pickup. We also have all our teachers available in their classrooms to meet people. We have a new principal that we’re really excited about, so you can stop by and meet him. And you can also see our updates to the building… that has turned out very nicely.”)
Teachers will be in their classrooms from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Vande Brake says they appreciate the community’s support.
