Sheldon Christmas Season To Kick Off With Trees, Santa, More

Sheldon, Iowa — The Christmas shopping season is always between 27 and 33 days long. And this year, since Thanksgiving is on November 23rd, it will be one of the longer shopping seasons at 32 days. But that’s still just over a month. So the Sheldon merchants are doing their best to get you in the Christmas spirit.

The Christmas activities in downtown Sheldon kick off this Monday, November 20th, with the sale of Merry Money. But the SCDC’s Shanelle Matus says there’s much more going on too.

For those not familiar with Festival of Trees, Matus fills us in.

She says admission to the Festival of Trees is free.

The festive atmosphere continues for the rest of the week.

Matus says if you need more information, you can call the chamber at 712-324-2813 or visit them online at sheldoniowa.com.
