Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon City Council is in the midst of a two-day budget workshop. They will continue this Wednesday evening, after the regular city council meeting, which, as usual, will be at 4:30 p.m. in the council chambers at the Sheldon Community Services Center across 9th Street from KIWA Radio.
On their consent agenda are the meeting minutes from the previous meeting, the list of claims, a resolution approving the appointments of Travis Buyert and Jared Holtrop as Director and Assistant Director of the Sheldon Emergency Management Agency or EMA, a pay application for the upper story conversion project, and a minimum assessment agreement for 415 West Park Street.
Unless a council member requests that an item be pulled out of the consent agenda to vote on separately, the entire consent agenda will be voted on in a single motion.
The council will then resume their budget workshop.
