Sheldon Class Of 2021 To Receive Diplomas Sunday

Sheldon, Iowa — Eighty-one Sheldon High School Seniors will receive their diplomas this Sunday when Sheldon High School holds commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2021.

This year’s Orab commencement ceremony will, once again, be held indoors in the Sheldon High School Gym (The Orena). Commencement for the Class of 2020 was held outdoors, at Orab Field, due to mask and social distancing requirements brought on by the pandemic.

The Class of 2021 has selected the motto, “What you do today determines who you will become tomorrow.” The Class Flower is the White Carnation and the Class Colors are the traditional Orab Orange and Black.

Sunday’s Sheldon Class of 2021 Commencement begins at 2:00 pm in the high school gym and is, of course, open to the public. If you would rather view the ceremony online, live streaming video can be viewed at kiwaradio.com, or on KIWA’s Facebook page. Streaming video coverage is presented by Maintainer Corporation, Rosenboom and the Sheldon Orab Athletic Boosters, all of Sheldon.
