Sheldon Council To Meet Wednesday

Sheldon, Iowa – The Sheldon City Council will meet in regular session Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 in Council Chambers of the Sheldon Community Services Center.

On the agenda for Wednesday’s meeting are the Consent Agenda, which includes a number of items such as; the Summary List of Claims, the June Financial Report, Quarterly Ambulance Insurance Adjustments, a Liquor License Renewal Application from Brady’s Pub, along with appointments to City Boards and Commissions, a resolution to approve Pay Application #2 to Kunkel Construction for the Sheldon Upper Story Project, as well as a resolution approving Utility Billing Policies and Procedures. All items on the Consent Agenda are approved with a single vote, unless a councilmember requests an item be moved to the regular agenda.

In other action, the Council is scheduled to approve the Master Planning Proposal for the City Park Master Plan from Beck Engineering, hear a report from Sheldon Public Library Interim Director Luellen Phelps, ad receive the City Manager’s Report.
