Sheldon, Iowa — If you like garden-fresh, locally grown produce, but lack a green thumb, you’ll be happy to know that Sheldon’s Farmers Market is preparing to open for the 2018 season.
Sheldon Chamber Executive Shanelle Matus says the Farmers Market will open Monday.
Matus says that, even though this year’s growing season got a late start due to the late end of winter, there will be produce available at Sheldon’s Farmers Market when they open Monday.
She says the Sheldon Farmers Market will be open two days each week.
Matus says they’re always looking for vendors for the Farmers Market.
She says vendors do need to sign up with the Sheldon Chamber & Development Corporation office, and she says you can do that by calling the office at 712-324-2813.
