Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon’s First Reformed Church will hold their 16th Annual Sportsman’s Banquet this Saturday night at the Lifelong Learning and Recreation Center, on the campus of Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, with doors opening at 6:00 pm.
Evan DeHoogh of Sheldon is one of the coordinators for the banquet, and he tells us about the evening’s guest speaker.
DeHoogh tells us a little about the schedule for Saturday evening’s banquet.
He says that, in addition to the guest speaker, door prizes, and gun giveaway, there’s a fantastic meal.
Last year’s banquet was the first for First Reformed Church Pastor Paul Van Maaren, and he says he was blessed by the experience.
Tickets for Saturday evening’s First Reformed Sportsman’s Banquet are available from Evan DeHoogh, at the Church Office, or at the door. If you have already purchased a ticket, but found you’ll be unable to attend, the Church Office asks that you call them so your tickets can be used to allow someone else to attend the banquet.
