Sheldon Mobile Food Bank To Visit Monday

Sheldon, Iowa — The Mobile Food Bank will be making it’s monthly visit to Sheldon this Monday (April 13th) at the National Guard Armory parking lot on Western Avenue.

Monday’s food bank distribution will be conducted as a drive-through, and will run from 4:30 until 6:00 Monday afternoon, and you’re asked to NOT come early.

Organizers say you’ll need to stop and check in, and provide some information, and you’ll be directed from there. When you come through the line you will NOT be able to get out of your car, so you will need to open your trunk so the food can be placed in your trunk. If your trunk needs to be reorganized to make room for the food, please do the rearranging before you leave home.

You’re asked to enter the driveway from the south on Western Avenue,  and exit the driveway going north toward Highway 18, to help with traffic flow. Please do NOT come in from the wrong direction.

Organizers say that, if you wish, you can help speed up the process when you come, by giving your information beforehand. Just call 712-541-1502.
Please remember, DO NOT get out of your car for any reason. The Sheldon Mobile Food Bank monthly visit is Monday from 4:30 to 6:00 in the parking lot of the National Guard Armory on Western Avenue in Sheldon.
