Sheldon Superintendent Thanks School Board For Their Service

Sheldon, Iowa — May is School Board Recognition Month in Iowa.

We had a chance to talk to Sheldon Community School District Superintendent Cory Myer. He tells us the school administrators and staff would like to thank the people serving on their school board.

Last week was teacher appreciation week, and Myer says the whole month is a reminder of what education is all about.

The last day of school for the 2024-25 school year is next Friday, May 23rd at Sheldon Community Schools. Commencement is scheduled for Sunday, May 25th.
