Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon United Fund Drive is underway for 2016.
The drive continues through the rest of the year. The goal this year is $31,000.
The Sheldon United Fund is a coalition of charitable organizations that pool their efforts in fundraising and support, so that each individual organization doesn’t have to go out and do their own fundraising. It’s easier on both those raising funds and the donors.
This year the Sheldon United Fund goal is $31,000 and the funds will assist 25 different organizations in Sheldon and the surrounding communities.
You can drop off donations at any of the four banks in Sheldon (Northwestern Bank, Citizen’s State Bank, Iowa State Bank or Peoples Bank) or send them to P.O. Box 41, Sheldon. Documents telling about each organization and how they help the community can be found at the banks as well.
The United Fund Board members thank you for your support.
