Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon’s new water tower may not have been selected as “Tank of The Year” by Tnemec Paints, but the water tower will be included in the company’s calendar.
According to Sheldon Public Works Director Todd Uhl, the company from which the paint was purchased for the tower holds the annual contest, which consists of water towers (called “tanks” in the water tower business) that were painted with the company’s paint.
