SHS Summer Theatre Set To Bring Children’s Show To Life

Sheldon, Iowa — The fourth production in the Sheldon High School Summer Theatre’s 49th season opens Thursday evening, with a children’s play.

The Summer Theatre does one children’s play each season, and this year’s children’s theatre production, Fantastic Mr. Fox, will be presented this weekend.

Logan Merley is the Director of Fantastic Mr. Fox, and he tells us a little bit about the show’s story line.

Cast member David Harris plays the farmer in Fantastic Mr. Fox, and he tells us what drew him to his character.

Xander Dusseldorp is also a cast member, and he tells us about his role.

Cast member Dylan Frangenberg tells us a little about his role.

Director Logan Merley says Fantastic Mr. Fox, while a children’s play, has a little something for everyone.

Fantastic Mr. Fox will open Thursday evening and continue Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. Show times are 7:00 Thursday and Friday evenings, with a Saturday afternoon matinee performance beginning at 2:00. Tickets for each production will be available at the door.
