Des Moines, Iowa — The city of Sibley has been awarded $10,000 to assist in the planning for a housing project. The funding is through the Empower Rural Iowa Initiative’s Building Ownership and Organization by Strengthening Teams, or BOOST program. The initiative connects community and business leaders with expert guidance to develop and implement growth plans.
The funding was awarded to the Sibley Housing and Development Corporation to help develop a site plan and public awareness campaign for a new residential development.
