Sioux Center Summer Celebration Is This Week

Sioux Center, Iowa — Next on the summer festival schedule for Summer 2021 is the Sioux Center Summer Celebration.

The annual festival is this week Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in the central Sioux County community.

According to the Sioux Center Chamber of Commerce, the festival will be packed with activities for all ages.

For example, there’s a cruise night on Friday night. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon, there will be a play. It’s an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, called Lewis Carroll: Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast.

Friday night’s street dance runs from 7:30 p.m. to midnight and features both the Ruralists and the Johnny Holm Band.

Saturday is the biggest day. Just an idea of some of the activities — a free kids carnival, the Fire and Smoke BBQ Challenge, a Pedal Tractor Pull, a parade, a glow run, and fireworks.
