Sioux Center, Iowa — This weekend the people of Sioux Center, and surrounding areas, will gather together to celebrate the beginning of summer.
Sioux Center’s Chamber of Commerce Event Coordinator Amber VanDerVliet tells us the celebration begins Thursday night.
VanDerVliet lists what will be happening on Friday night at the celebration.
She says on Saturday there will be even more events.
VanDerVliet says each night the Sioux Center Arts will perform Peter Pan, The Musical at 7 p.m. starting on June 1st and at 2 p.m. on June 10th. You can get tickets at https://siouxcenterarts.ticketleap.com/peterpan/. According to VanDerVliet, the musical will take place at the old high school. She says there will be more fun going on as well and a lot of it is free for the public.
VanDerVliet hopes everyone comes out to celebrate the summer season.
