Sioux Center, Iowa — A great opportunity for hunters and other outdoor enthusiasts is coming up. The 25th annual Sioux County Sportsmen’s Banquet is going to be in Sioux Center on Saturday.
A catered dinner is planned, as well as a live auction, a silent auction, games, and other prizes, all at the Dordt Rec Center in Sioux Center.
The group tells us their emphasis is on wildlife habitat and youth education. Proceeds from the sale of tickets go towards public land acquisition and preservation of wildlife habitat in Sioux County.
It’s $45 for adults and teens 16 and older, and $20 for children, and you can get tickets at siouxcsc.org. Ticket sales will end online, on Friday, March 4 at 11:59 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door, but the prices will be $15 more.
Prizes will include several guns, a Stihl Battery Chain Saw and Trimmer combo, plus gift cards to Joe’s TV & Appliance, Cenex, Scheels, and Fleet Farm, and much more.
Again, the banquet is this Saturday, March 5th at the Dordt Rec Center in Sioux Center. Doors open at 5, the meal is from 5:30 to 7, and the program is at 7. Everyone is welcome.
