Sioux, O’Brien Counties Make Stacker.com’s List Of Top 30 Iowa Counties In Which To Live

Undated — Greater northwest Iowa is a great place to live — we all knew that. But now there is some research to back that up.

Several greater northwest Iowa counties have made Stacker.com’s list of the top 30 in the state to live in. They rank Sioux County as the 6th best county in which to live in the state. O’Brien County is 21st. Dickinson County is ranked 15th, and Buena Vista County is ranked 24th.

Story County is the top-ranked Iowa county to live in.

Stacker compiled the list of best counties to live in Iowa using rankings from Nice, which ranks counties by various factors including public schools, educational attainment, cost of living, and housing.
