Blustery, cold and slick start to the work week. Freezing drizzle/rain last night have resulted in slick roads across the region and will have an impact on your morning commute. If traveling, slow down and increase distance between cars. Gusty northerly winds of 15 to 25 mph, gusting from 30 to 40 mph are expected today. Gusty winds and temperatures in the single digits above zero will cause wind chills as cold as 20 below to 30 below zero. Stay warm and safe!
This week will not only be cold, but also periods of light snow will be possible. Light snow is expected late Monday night into Tuesday evening. Snowfall amounts will range from a dusting to 3 inches, with highest amounts possible over southwest Minnesota.
