Northwest Iowa — It’s been spring for three weeks now, but you certainly wouldn’t know it by the weather we’ve been seeing.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Andrew Kalin says not to fear…spring weather will be with us by the middle of this week. But he says we shouldn’t get too used to it just yet.
We asked Kalin if he thought we’d see spring before the calendar tells us it’s summer.
He says this year isn’t the first time the area has experienced this kind of early spring weather.
While we might be ready to be done with winter and move to more temperate weather, I guess we’ll have to put up with an Iowa spring for a little while longer.
