UPDATE: St. Paul Lutheran Supper Raises Over $2K For VNU Special Olympics

VNU St Paul DonationSheldon, Iowa — This past Monday, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheldon held their annual Pancake and Sausage Supper, with the proceeds from this year’s event earmarked for Village Northwest Unlimited, in support of the Special Olympics program that they run.

Larry Smit of St. Paul Lutheran Church says the Pancake and Sausage Supper was a huge success, with net proceeds totaling $2,229.40.

The Village’s Director of Development, Lisa Johnson tells us they are grateful for the donation.


She tells us what the donation will mean for the Village’s Special Olympics Athletes.

Thursday morning Larry Smit, of St. Paul Lutheran Church, told KIWA that the Pancake and Sausage Supper was a huge success, with net proceeds totaling $2,229.40.  Smit said St. Paul Lutheran will be presenting Village Northwest Unlimited officials with a check for that amount sometime in the next couple of days.
