Sunshine Will Continue For Just A Bit Longer

Northwest Iowa — After the clouds and rain we’ve seen for the past few days, Tuesday’s sunshine and warm temperatures were a welcome sight.

Tuesday afternoon, KIWA talked with Sioux Falls National Weather Service Meteorologist Andrew Kalin. He says the sunshine will stick around…but not for long.

Thus far in 2021, our severe weather season here in northwest Iowa has been much quieter than normal. We asked Kalin if we could expect that  trend to continue.

Since we’re still several days out from the Memorial Day holiday weekend, Kalin says you should keep an eye on the forecast, since weather forecasts and conditions can change by the day.
