Sutherland Democrat Joins 4th Congressional District Race

Sutherland, Iowa — Another candidate has entered the race for Congress in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District, looking to replace current Congressman Randy Feenstra of Hull, who is expected to run for the state’s governor’s seat next year.

Stephanie Steiner, a Democratic candidate from Sutherland, launched her campaign last week.

Steiner joins Ashley WolfTornabane of Storm Lake as the Democratic candidates campaigning for Iowa’s 4th Congressional District seat.

Republicans Matt Windschitl, Chris McGowan, and Kyle Larsen are also vying for the seat. Lynn Evans thought about running but decided against it, and will run instead for re-election to the State Senate, where he currently serves O’Brien, Osceola, and Buena Vista counties, and portions of Clay and Cherokee counties.
