Northwest Iowa — The big game is coming up on Sunday and the Iowa State Patrol is recruiting, as it were.
Iowa State Patrol spokesperson, Trooper Kevin Krull tells us about it.
He says there are some sobering statistics to remind us that drunk driving is a serious issue.
Krull says there are a number of things to think about, including those people that you’re trying to get home to, and the people that other drivers are trying to get home to as well. He says there are monetary reasons as well.
Authorities tell us there are other ways to deal with the issue as well, from celebrating without alcohol to celebrating at home, to planning on staying the night at the party, and sleeping there.
