UPDATE: Two 16-year Olds Missing From Sioux County

UPDATE: Shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29th, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office sent a message that the two missing girls had been found. No other information is available.

Sioux County, Iowa — Sioux County authorities are looking for a pair of missing 16-year old girls. According to a Nixle Alert from the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, the missing girls are 16-year old Samantha Zeutenhorst, and 16-year old Ellie North. 

According to Orange City Police, Zeutenhorst is a Type 1 Diabetic, and is believed to have had only about 1 day’s worth of insulin with her when she left her mother’s house yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.

Orange City authorities say the two are considered runaways, but with Zeutenhorst’s medical condition, it’s imperative they be found as soon as possible.

The two were reportedly last seen in a black, 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix, license number DPA561. The girls were reportedly last seen in Orange City.
