Northwest Iowa — Iowa U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley was in Sheldon on Thursday to meet with Sheldon High School students for a question-and-answer session.
Grassley says, unless there’s some sort of sudden reversal, affordability issues will continue to be a major issue in the next election. Grassley says the administration and the President himself seem to be in denial that the prices of groceries and other items continue to go up.
Grassley also says he would be in favor of an automatic continuing resolution that would avoid future government shutdowns.
In addition to his Thursday stop in Sheldon, Grassley made a stop in Milford on Wednesday afternoon at Milford Manufacturing/Clary Lake Service.
