Sheldon, Iowa — The year has come to an end, but the Sheldon United Fund Board wants you to know that you can still donate. In fact, they’d appreciate it, as the funds are still short of the goal.
The goal this year has been $31,000.
The funds are at about 82% of goal, at $25,415. Over $5500 has yet to be raised. In the last week, donors gave $1,179.
Contributions to any or all of the organizations served by the Sheldon United Fund may be left at any of the four Sheldon banks, or you can also send them to PO Box 41, Sheldon, IA 51201. Explanations of the organizations are also available at the banks.

The United Fund will be assisting 21 different organizations in Sheldon and the surrounding communities this year, and the board members thank the businesses and individuals of Sheldon and the surrounding communities for their support during the past year. They say it is greatly appreciated.
