Upcoming Events From O’Brien County Conservation & Prairie Heritage Center

O’Brien County, Iowa — If you’re looking for something to do this Saturday night, O’Brien County Conservation has an idea for you.

O’Brien County Naturalist Charlene Elyea says there’s a fireworks display put on at Mill Creek Park in connection with Paullina’s Gemboree celebration.

She says that, while Mill Creek Park Campground is full for this weekend, there are other options in O’Brien County for folks who want to go camping this weekend.

Elyea says now’s the time to register for a kids program set for July 29th and 30th at the Crosbie Wildlife Center, and Dog Creek.

For more information, or to register for Outdoor Quest, CLICK HERE, or call the Prairie Heritage Center at 712-295-7200. Elyea urges you to sign up soon, since spots are filling up quickly.
