Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Farmers’ Market will be starting soon.
We talked to Sheldon Chamber Coordinator Allison Cooke, and she says if you want to sell your produce or other items at the Farmers’ Market, it’s time to sign up.
She says using the old depot allows them to set up inside if needed due to the weather. She says sometimes the rain, wind, or sun didn’t cooperate, and as she says, this location allows them to set up, “no matter what mother nature is doing.”
Sheldon Farmer’s Market registration forms are available at sheldoniowa.com. Cooke says there will be a clean-up day at the Depot to get it ready this coming Monday, May 18th at 4 pm. She says if you can help, it’d be greatly appreciated.
