Weather Concerns Don’t End On Sunday

Sheldon, Iowa — After Sunday’s weather concerns, don’t get the idea that we’re out of the woods.

There’s a good chance of rain on Monday but the National Weather Service says we could see some mixed precip again on Monday night, which, at this point, they think will turn to all snow after 10 PM, with gusty winds.

There’s still a 20 percent chance of snow on Tuesday, with areas of blowing snow, and a high only of 27.

Tuesday night — that’s when they’re predicting the cold will come through. Expect lows in the single digits and blustery conditions.

But after that, it looks to improve. We’ll make it above the thawing mark on Wednesday. By Thursday we could almost make it to 50, and by Good Friday and Easter Saturday, we should be in the 50s.

After that, there’s a pretty good chance we’ll have near normal temperatures, which would be in the lower 50s. It is somewhat likely that we could see above normal precipitaiton, which we could definitely use.
