Northwest Iowa — The weekend winter storm turned out a bit differently than most of us expected.
While there was rain, sleet, freezing rain, and snow, the amounts turned out a little differently due to temperature. Meteorologist Samantha Garrett at the Sioux Falls office of the National Weather Service gives us a summary.
She tells us how that compared to other amounts in the tri-state area.
She says icing did not amount to much of a problem in our area.
Garrett tells us what to expect for the beginning of the new year.
