Hull, Iowa — An area Christian high school is celebrating it’s 100th birthday the weekend of August 9th.
Wes Fopma of Western Christian High School in Hull says 100-years is quite an achievement.
We asked Fopma how Western got it’s start.
Although the school was originally formed by folks from Christian Reformed Churches, Fopma says the school isn’t affiliated with any specific denomination.
Western Christian’s centennial celebration will be held August 9th, 10th, and 11th. Fopma tells us about the activities for Friday the 9th.
He says the celebration continues on Saturday and Sunday.
