Sheldon, Iowa — The winners have been selected for a Digital Photo Contest conducted by the Sheldon Public Library. The contest began in early January, and the entry deadline was 5:00 pm Tuesday February 19th.
Library Director Nicole Morgan tells us about the objective of the contest.
Morgan talks about the required subject matter of the entries.
She says they were “happily surprised” when more than one hundred photos were submitted in the contest. Of those one hundred-plus images, she says they were able to winnow it down to five winners.
Morgan tells us who submitted the five winning photos.
She tells us what will now become of the five winning photos.
While the top five will be placed on the library’s walls, the other entries will be displayed on a TV in the library, and will scroll through all the photos. Morgan says while she was glad there were so many entries, the final decision was a difficult one to make.
